Owls embody the essence of my spirit. They are symbols of keen sight, wisdom, power, and strength. In my last role I traveled to franchise offices to offer support, coaching and training. I would pray as I drove to each office visit, seeking the vision to perceive the unseen and the ability to hear the unspoken. I yearned for wisdom, empowerment, and the right words. Envisioning greatness in every office I supported was my constant endeavor.

Effective change necessitates goals, and goals require plans – essentially, a dream with a roadmap. While dreams hold significance, transforming them into reality demands concrete goals and actionable plans. The journey commences by crafting a mental image, fostering a vision.

Have you hesitated to dream? I once did. What hindered it? Past disappointments, pain, trauma, or rejection? I empathize. It's challenging to believe in finding land when you feel lost at sea or to see sunshine amidst storms. It's challenging to envision or paint a picture when your brushes are damaged or discarded.

So, where do we start the artistic process anew? How do we rekindle the ability to dream and dismantle barriers? The genesis lies within your thoughts, beliefs, and the narratives you weave. Which stories need rewriting? What negative thoughts must be replaced with positive, optimal thinking?

Go inward. Embrace stillness. Calm your mind and embark on rewriting your story, painting a new and fresh narrative. Immerse yourself in essential resources and positive influences: music, readings, people, affirmations. Utilize new tools to facilitate authentic change. Armed with new paints and brushes, you can commence creating a new picture but you have to see it first.

Only you can rewrite these narratives in your mind. I believe we all possess the courage, bravery, and capability to reprogram our thoughts and beliefs.

"I was blind but now I see."

"Be all that you can be."

"I have a dream..."

"Without vision, people perish."

"If you're not growing, you're dying."

"Quick down, quick up."

These aren't just quotes but optimal thoughts that have guided me.

What's your dream? Can you visualize it? Let's forge ahead, aspiring to our highest selves. I can see my dream, my vision for myself and my business. It is a vibrant tapestry of beauty, color, joy, imperfection, challenge, triumph, warmth, and welcome.

Open your eyes with me. Let's continue to press forward. Each of you is on an extraordinary journey. Now, take it further.
